This page explains what ALAENERGIES LIMITED does with personal information collected through www.alaenergies.com. It is written to be read, not to be impressive.

What we collect

This website is a set of static pages. It sets no advertising cookies, runs no tracking pixels, and builds no profile of you.

Two things do collect information:

• Visitor statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and referrers without setting cookies and without collecting anything that identifies you personally. We can see that a page was visited; we cannot see who visited it.
• The enquiry form. If you send us an enquiry, we receive whatever you type into it — typically your name, your company, an email address or phone number, and your message.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for a short period for security and abuse prevention. That is a normal function of any website and is not used for marketing.

What we do with it

Enquiry details are used to answer your enquiry, and to keep a record of what was discussed if we go on to do business. That is all.

We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry.

Who else sees it

Enquiries reach our email provider and are read by the people at AlaEnergies who need to answer them. Our website host and email provider process the data on our behalf under their own terms.

We will disclose information where we are legally required to — for example to a regulator or a court — and not otherwise.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to business are kept for up to two years and then deleted. Records relating to customers and transactions are kept for as long as Tanzanian tax and company law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address on the contact page and say what you would like done. We will respond within thirty days.

You are never obliged to use the enquiry form. Phoning or emailing us directly works just as well.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and adult customers. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
